When I pay for a lesson, where does the money go?

The Golden Gate JOAD program is operated as a not-for-profit.  Virtually all of the funds we receive goes back into buying and maintaining the club’s equipment.  We also spend money on replacing and repairing the bales and bale frames at the Golden Gate Park archery range.  (Contrary to popular belief, the city does not pay for those bales.   They only pay for the cost of mowing the grass on the range.)

Instructors are all volunteers and are not compensated for their labor.  We would like to change that in the future, but at the moment there are not funds for that.
